“ Excellent, the chef and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was wonderful and thoughtful. The passion of the chef shines through in the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered three different 'nos plats' and we all enjoyed each one. Some of the seafood was pulled out of the sea just blocks away. ”
“ We had a wonderful lunch here today. Set down a quieter street away from the crowds, it was lovely to get out of the heat. The owners were very welcoming and incredibly thoughtful, fetching a high chair and toy for our 5 month old daughter who was suffering from the high humidity. The food was delicious with an inventive combination of flavours from tempura moules to grapefruit, avocado and prawn salad. The whole sea bream was perfectly cooked with beautiful roast vegetables and potatoes on the side. My dish was even adapted to accommodate my gluten allergy. We wholeheartedly recommend L’Auberge, it was by far our favourite meal in Sete. Thank you! ”
“ What an amazing little restaurant in the town of Sete. I had the Saint Pierre, which was cooked to perfection, I’ve never had a fish cooked that well. Also recommend the fondant, it was perfectly melted in the middle. Would recommend! ”
“ We were able to get a table on a Saturday night without reservations, which was great. The salad with goat cheese was a great starter. The flank steak was cooked medium rare, just as ordered, but I would recommend getting something different (such as the tuna). The French fries were great however. My wife’s chocolate cake was also super good, so I would recommend. Overall the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and felt more authentic than many of the other tourist restaurants you see by the canal. ”

“ Excellent food, easily some of the best I've had in Sète. We had the carpaccio and the salmon gravadlax to start (gravadlax was pretty special), followed by the moules marininieres and the macoranade. The macoranade was really the show stopper for me, a mountain of pasta with a very tender meaty stew filled with sausage, pork belly and mince. Alas, no room for dessert! ”
